Think about it — West would capture most of the Black vote (neutralizing and forever putting to death the Race card), the conservative base (Tea Party movement), and the military. He’d carry Florida – a huge state with a number of electoral votes. Trump would capture the “moderate” Repubs, the Independents, and the moderate Dems who don’t see themselves as part of the Obama Socialist wing. I think the combination would beat the pants off Obama.
Newsmax is reporting that Rep. Allen West says he hopes Donald Trump is serious about running for president, because America is in need of a leader who can guide it through a “critical time.”
The Florida Republican and the billionaire real estate magnate were the keynote speakers at Saturday’s Tax Day Tea Party in Boca Raton, Fla., organized by the South Florida Tea Party.
“I say anyone who wants to step up and be a leader in this country, this is a critical time,” Allen told Newsmax.TV. “This is not a time for any jokes, games or gimmicks, and I hope he is very serious.”
The freshman congressman also noted the tea party movement’s increasing influence in politics, citing the groups’ influence in recent budget negotiations.
“As you continue to see this type of increase with these types of votes, that has to get the attention of the leadership and lets them know they have to go in and fight a little bit stronger.”
Allen also said he would not rule out running for vice president on a Trump ticket if he were asked.

Wasn’t it less than two weeks ago that West shocked many conservatives by joining the GOP leaders in saying that pursuing the birth certificate is a “waste of time”??
Correct me if I’m wrong.
Several politicians have backtracked their stance on the eligibility issue. West is a patriot and wants what is best for America. He and Trump would put Obama to shame!
I’ve spoken with, and e-mailed with, LTC West several times. I have no doubts about his patriotism or his desire for a better America.
But, when an official “backtracks” on a bedrock Constitutional issue, that makes me pause to ponder.
Interestingly, Michelle Bachmann is also changing her stance on this issue.

Alan Keyes has been consistently against Obama for more than seven years. That’s since before most Americans had ever heard of Obama.
Yes, he has been a lone voice, which the media have consistently ignored or minimized.
Well, I would not go so far as to say that “West would capture most of the Black vote…” but he would capture enough that Obama would lose. Trump-West, Ryan-West, Anybody-West is fine with me. Then a West-someone else ticket in 2016 or 2020!
I would rather it be more like Ron Paul and Allen West.
Ron Paul has dignity and character and has great strong constitutional beliefs and is stern in him beliefs. He hardly waivers as opposed to trump which baits and switch’s and changes his mind all the time. Allen West and Ron Paul would certainly bring down the barrack child.
