Dear Mr. McManus:
Your editorials in today’s Post are excellent. I agree with both “Shout it Loud” and “Forget the Photos.” However, being a retired NYPD Detective/Sergeant who dealt with con artists and more devious and dangerous characters for much of my life, I can’t help being cynical regarding President Obama refusing to release a photo of Osama bin Laden’s corpse.
After almost two years of refusing to release his long form birth certificate that would have put to rest this minor distraction while shoving “ObamaCare” down the throats of the American people, I suspect President Obama and his political supporters in the corrupt Chicago Democratic machine, hope to use the demands of “conspiracy theorists” to distract the American people from the important issues facing our nation, e.g., our national debt, a growing Washington bureaucracy, and the circumventing of our elected officials in Congress with the issuing of bureaucratic regulations in the place of Congressional legislation, to name a few.
Hopefully, The Post and other “fair and balanced” news outlets recognize the damage the re-election of President Obama will do to our “Free Market Economy”, especially if any openings occur on the Supreme Court that Chicago and New York City’s corrupt Democratic machines will have a major say in.
As the adage goes, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” Hopefully, Tea Party Taxpayers and Conservative Republicans remember this too.

Forget the Photos
THE White House declined yesterday to release a photo of Osama bin Laden’s corpse — a controversial but quite correct choice.“There is no doubt that Osama bin Laden is dead,” President Obama told CBS News. “So we don’t think that a photograph in and of itself is going to make any difference.”
