THIS is why we want him to run for President.
“Yes, I am very aware these words and the statement I released will be carried forward all across America, and possibly beyond – and yes they are strong words. However, it is time that someone rose up to speak the truth.”
Allen West calls Obama `malicious’ to Israel
By William Gibson May 24, 2011 11:25 AMSouth Florida Congressman Allen West accused President Obama of “nefarious and malicious intent” when calling for Israel to accept pre-1967 borders as part of a Middle East peace settlement.
Congressman Allen WestWhile many of Israel’s advocates opposed the president’s stance, West, a Plantation Republican and tea party stalwart, delivered the most withering criticism.
“America has a president who lacks moral courage and integrity when it comes to America’s long-standing relationship with Israel,” West concluded in a weekly wrapup message sent to “fellow patriots.”
“I cannot attribute this incompetent statement to naïveté, but rather to conscious, nefarious, and malicious intent,” he added.
“Yes, I am very aware these words and the statement I released will be carried forward all across America, and possibly beyond – and yes they are strong words. However, it is time that someone rose up to speak the truth.”
He called Obama’s statement “one of the most insidious and heinous policy statements ever made by any United States president.”
South Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, one of the most assertive supporters of Israel, rushed to Obama’s defense. As chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, Wasserman Schultz has dedicated herself to getting Obama re-elected.
The Weston Democrat noted that Obama has “reiterated our nation’s unwavering support for the Jewish state, stressing that ‘the bonds between the United States and Israel are unbreakable – and the commitment of the United States to the security of Israel is ironclad.’”
“As a Jewish member of Congress who cares deeply about preserving Israel as a Jewish, democratic state, I am proud that President Obama spoke forcefully about continuing the United States’ strong and stalwart support of Israel.”

Allen West does not Fu€& around. Love that about him. We need a straight shooter to tell it how it is and to not care about the political fallout.
Of course… he said he’s not running. I’m starting to think we might be screwed here.
Col. West may say he’s not running, and he might be truthful in that statement. However, he — like many patriots before him — will come to the aid of our country when asked. This story still has a few chapters left. I wouldn’t count him out. A quality ask for the right reasons is hard to refuse…
Fingers crossed! I know I should never say this in politics but… If he ran…. He would be a sure thing. No doubt in my mind. He’s what we need right now. Exactly what we need.
II can’t hold it against anyone who doesn’t want to run. I couldn’t imagine having my life, as well as my families life picked apart and analyzed before the entire world. That’s a lot to take on. Though I’m pretty sure Allen West could handle it.
