My friend Marylou, ever vigilant and loyal, reminds us that on this day, Friday, September 16, 2011, we should take a moment to remember our fallen heroes from all wars who were/are prisoners of war and missing in action.

“I’m inviting all to wear BLACK in solidarity to those of whom did not make it back from combat, and to their families, who desire closure in knowing the true fate of their loved ones and can know where their remains are located. Bring them home!!!!!

Just take a moment to remember. Tell your young. Never forget. Tell your friends, everyone to never give up hope.

Above is a portion of the FACT Sheet from the Defense POW/MIA Personnel Office as of August 2, 2011. Visit the National League of Families website for the rest of the story.
