During our Tea Party Express national tour, we rallied in Hillsdale, Michigan, at one of the prettiest spots we’d been to. It was a photo magnet! (see THIS post) After the rally, I asked Howard Kaloogian — co-founder of Our Country Deserves Better PAC (parent to Tea party Express), and Western regional director for planned giving for Hillsdale College, if we could take a detour and visit the college campus so I could see the iconic building used as the college’s logo. Howard was delighted to do so, so we swung the buses around and stopped by Hillsdale College for a quick look-see. Regretfully, we only had 20 minutes or so to deviate from our schedule. I would have loved to spent more time poking around the only college in America that does NOT take any federal funds.
