I have been an Apple user since 1987 when the newly appointed head of our aerospace company at Kennedy Space Center insisted it was time for the company’s management team to move into the computer age. The boss was an avid Apple Mac user, so he outfitted our offices with Apple computers. Ten years later, I left to start my own company, and the first purchase I made was an Apple Performa. I’ve owned several Macs ever since then. In fact, I’m writing this on my MacBookPro OS X, a machine that is as beautiful as it is functional. I could never go to a PC. And I recently purchased the iPhone 4, and love it. Next will be an iPad.
I am saddened at the loss of Steve Jobs, such a giant of a man. Steve changed the world. Literally. He certainly changed mine. I’m on my Mac every day for hours a day. I do all my writing on it, and run my Internet radio show from it.
Our lives are enhanced because of his gifts and his talent. May God bless him and give his soul rest and peace. My heartfelt condolences to his wife and children. The loss to them must be inestimable.
With deepest sympathy and gratitude to the memory of Steve Jobs for my making our lives better…
