Newt was tea before tea was hot.

Mitt Romney predicts tea party will turn on Newt Gingrich

Photo by AP In this April 15, 1994 file photo, House Minority Whip Newt Gingrich of Georgia and 7th District (Ga.) congressional candidate Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald, throw mock tea crates into the Chattahoochee River in Roswell, Ga.

Dear Tea Party in Florida:

I’m not a media member, but just a concerned tea party voter in
Virginia. Discovered this photo while researching Newt. If you aren’t
already aware of it, I believe it illustrates that Newt Gingrich has
backed Tea Party values for a very long time …was Tea Party before
being Tea Party was cool!

Anyway, just thought I’d forward it on. Perhaps this shown against
the stark contrast of WHATEVER Romney was doing in 1994 would provide
important info to voters before the primary this Tuesday.

Thanks!

  1. Thanks great photo Newt does know what is wrong in Washington, and can work to fix it. Probably the left is pushing Romney because he will cave at the first sign of trouble.

  2. Sorry, I can’t let this much propaganda pass me by without comment.

Gingrich is still a member of the CFR, and other organizations whose stated goals are one world government. That gives the lie to his conversion. We believed on barack hussein obama and got burned badly because no one vetted him properly and those of us who did were called racists and other things. Now we are trying to vet candidates and we are called other things. I am not willing to put America into the hands of a lifelong slobbering agenda 21 devotee and rabid progressive just because he says so.

In addition, let’s not forget his stance on global warming, and his cute little commercial piece with the other X speaker, Ms. Pelosi. Just sayin’ he’s not the one who can beat the usurper. Newt was caught in his fibs on several occasions during the last debate by both Romney and Santorum.

There is a better choice if we want to elect the Conservative that we say we do. Don’t you think?

Rick Santorum is the only real Conservative candidate in the race. There is a clear delineation between himself and obama, right and wrong as it were, or good and evil. The same cannot be said for the other candidates. Their track records and past dealings belie their claim to conservatism.

  3. I don’t view this as propaganda. It’s a photo and simply shows the zeal the Speaker has had for Americans seeking freedom from Big Government instrusion. I like Newt Gingrich’s ideas and I like Rick Santorum’s ideas. Both men have passion; both have strong grassroots Republican and independent support (albeit, most media sources don’t give you that impression). I think Newt would make a strong president…and that he has the capacity to drive through constructive legislation (as he did in a phenomenal way in the 1990s) with balanced budgets, welfare reform, and capital gains reductions. I like Santorum, too. I know both men respect one another a great deal regardless of the occasional banter in the candidate races. It’s simply a matter of who you think will do a better job in the office–and both men would be vastly superior than President Obama–a man and an administration that is incredibly corrupt, inept, and out of touch with average Americans.
