So what did YOU think of Candy’s moderating?

TRICK — NOT TREAT.

If Candy Crowley knows anything about moderating, it surely doesn’t apply to her debate skills or her eating habits. A woman of her girth with a name like “Candy” is an oxymoron.  Kind of like calling a St. Bernard dog “Trixie”.

Ouch!   Yeah, even I know that was a low blow.  But then, not as low as her biased treatment of the Prince of Kumquat Barack Hussein Obama in last night’s debate.  Do you agree?  Candy should have been pelted with Halloween candy corn.  And the nauseating self-congratulatory back patting about her being the first “Female” presidential debate moderater, blah, blah, blah, made me want to hurl.

Honestly, these media people really think they’re all that AND a two-ton bag of chips, don’t they? A wonder Wolf Blitzer and the aforementioned “Candy” didn’t break their arms patting themselves and petting each other. Ugh.  Positively disgusting, and embarrassingly self-aggrandizing.

Former US Senatorial candidate Joe Miller of Alaska has similar sentiments and had this to say about it:

CNN correspondent and second presidential debate moderator Candy Crowley disgraced herself tonight, repeatedly intervening to save a floundering President Obama and showing why many Americans were rightfully suspicious of her ability to moderate a presidential debate fairly.

Her most outrageous act tonight was her incorrect seconding of Obama’s statement that he declared the Libya terrorist attacks to be “terror.” While Obama did indeed use the word, this is not what he meant by it. Instead, he was simply referring to “acts of terror.” There was no mention of Al Qaeda or any of its affiliates with respect to the actual attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi.

Crowley bungled the facts in attempting to save Obama from his administration’s dreadful bungling of the Libya situation. She owes the American people an apology for inserting herself into the debate in such an inappropriate and embarrassing fashion.

Obama deliberately quoted himself out of context and Crowley not only allowed him to do so, she validated his intentionally narrow reading of the facts even before he pleaded for her to come to his rescue.

Here is the full Obama statement in reference to “terror” in Libya. As you can see, this was purely a generic discussion of violence:

“No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.”

Amy Kremer of the Tea Party Express says:

“If you look at all the polling and focus groups, they say Obama might have won this debate, but they trust Romney… yeah Obama is a likeable guy.  But most CEO’s are where they are because they’re focused, they’re managers, and they get the job done. It’s clear Romney has a deep understanding and is substantive because he’s lived in the business world.

Obama only knows what he’s been taught.  He goes out and tells people what they want to hear.  But Romney is speaking from experience.

At the end of the day, the determining factor is: most people are going to vote on the economy.  They know that Obama’s not working.  They can put out these unemployment numbers, but people are going to vote based on their own economic situation.”
