“On Thursday, the California State Senate passed the first in a spate of 30 gun control bills authored in the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting, which, taken together, have the potential to fundamentally alter gun ownership in the Golden State,” Aaron Sankin of The Huffington Post reported. — Gun Rights Examiner, March 13, 2013
Dear friends — Tea Partiers, ACT for America member, and all other Grassroots activists:
Andrea here. And I’ve been thinking…
We are seeing what Obama and his regime are doing to put pressure on our States regarding gun control, Obamacare Exchanges, and God knows what else.
The late House Speaker Tip O’Neill said “All politics is local”, and that’s why I’m sending you this note. If we ever hope to stop the train of abuses emanating from Washington DC, it has to be right here in our States. We have to make sure our State legislators — the men and women we’ve sent to our State House to represent us — are a bulwark against the unconstitutional encroachments marching toward us from Mordor on the Potomac.
To that end, my friend and colleague Elizabeth Letchworth has expanded her GradeGov.com website to include individual State websites that will enable you and your organization to pipeline your voice right into your State legislators with your views on issues of importance.
If you haven’t been to GradeGov.com before this, take a few moments to explore it and see what capabilities it gives you to connect directly with any member of Congress. Then click the “Franchises” link at the top of the home page and see how you can make GradeGov work for you at the State level.
This is a tool that is as good — if not better than Twitter — to enable you to directly reach elected members of your State legislature and Congress.
I believe every tea party organization or grassroots group should use this tool to stiffen the spines of those politicians who represent us.
Elizabeth will be happy to talk to your group (either in person or via conference call) to explain how GradeGov can make sure our State level representatives are doing the job we expect them to do, even when the winds of socialism blow from Washington.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you will get on the phone and call your friends to share this information and that you act on it soon. We don’t have any time to waste. Let’s make sure our voices are heard over the cacophony of liberal propaganda.
