Fascinating photos
When you are in life threatening situations such as leaving for an amphibious landing, it is amazing how you can focus on the little things. Lying behind some cover during a fire fight, bullets snapping past and you are noticing the delicate fuzz on the fringe of a weed close at hand, or how blue the sky is, or how the rain and overcast remind you of getting off your school bus one morning and running into the school building other kids all around you.
Those picturesque settings shown here would be just the place to lose oneself in such bizarre yet calming focus on an incongruent reflection.
