Martin Geddes is posting some interesting tidbits on his TELEGRAM channel this day. For example, this post by someone called “QFrogman5326″… make of this what you will. I’ve been studying the book of Enoch, and it is quite fascinating. I wonder why it wasn’t included in the books of the Bible?

I’m currently reading Dr. David Jeremiah’s book, “The Book of Signs” which explains much of this. He’s got another series just out called “Agents of the Apocolypse” which I’ve ordered. He bases everything on scripture.
The Book of Enoch is not part of the cannon because it is not inspired by God. However, any part of any book quoted in the Bible is true but only that which is quoted, not the rest of the book. Lies are preserved in scripture but the record of the lie is true not the lie itself. Jesus set the cannon of the Old Testament,
“From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.”
-Luke 11:51 also Matthew 23:35
The events cited above occurred in the first and then the last books of the Hebrew Bible. Remember, their order of books is different. The information is all the same but the Hebrew Bible ends with what we call 2 Chronicles ours ends with Malachi. In fact, Samuel, Kings and Chronicles are not designated as two books each but shown as one book in the Hebrew Bible.
Also interesting is that 2 Chronicles with the promise to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem while Malachi ends with a curse.
Anyway, Enoch is not even part of the Apocrypha which are not inspired either but part of the historical record and written during the 400 years of silence and apostasy.
Those who push the Book of Enoch seem to all want to dwell on extra-biblical information about the giants of Genesis. It is their hobby horse and cash cow. Some of it makes for entertaining stories but that’s it.
The apostasy comes in when they say the Bible is not complete. Paul never said that, Peter never said that, John never said that, no believer ever said that.
Enoch was never part of the Bible. Neither was the Epistle of Barnabas, the Gospel of Peter or any other sub-Christian mysticism.
“15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.”
2 Timothy 2:15-16
Verse 16 states where the Book of Enoch lies in comparison with the word of truth.
“The Book of Enoch is not part of the cannon because it is not inspired by God” — And you know that how? Serious question.
