Exciting day with both local and statewide races.
Before I sign off for the evening, join me in congratulating my friend Wes Morrison who won the race for Mayor of Cape Canaveral in a landslide.
Wes worked hard for the people during his two terms as city councilor, and the people were watching. Wes won with more than 57% of the vote. In one of our little city’s two precincts, he took better than 60% of the vote. Way to go, Wes!

That kid isn’t old enough to be mayor is he? I need to start checking IDs. When I was his age I was flying around in old planes dodging the international dateline. Never occurred to me to run for office. Kids are smarter these days.
