It’s time to call it a day, at least for now.
I’m signing off this evening with a photo of my sweet granddaughter Olivia and her terrific husband Jon after they completed their climb to the summit of Flat Top Mountain in Alaska. They’re patriots too!

I have climbed Flat Top several years ago. I lived in Anchorage, Alaska as a child (father in the USAF) and in the late 1970’s my husband, myself & our 3 sons were stationed at Elmendorf AFB where I lived as a child. WOW. Now one of our sons lives in Anchorage with his wife & nearby their daughter’s family including two grandsons. Such timeless beauty there. The view from Flat Top is incredible. Thank you for what you do to inform everyone of what is going on. I appreciate it so much. JoAnn Parrott

I know the feeling. I feel it every time I am on a mountain top in Colorado where I have spent many years. It numbs me to think there are people that want to destroy this amazing world.
