If you’ve been wondering what the FBI was REALLY looking for in former President Trump’s home, according to people familiar with the investigation, wonder no more—they were looking for the Crossfire Hurricane Binders. Attorney General Merrick Garland believed that if the DOJ revealed its true objective (to seize the binders preventing their release) the former president would release them to the public or at the very least make another copy. Now if I were on Trumps’ immediate circle team there would be multiple copies of EVERYTHING. Just to screw with the Fem Bois of Insurrection I would have put a full set of copies in those boxes and stashed the originals.
