It’s “puzzling”

I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles and often spend hours working on the correct placement for pieces in a 1000 or 500 piece puzzle. I find doing them a relaxing pastime, especially while listening to podcasts and radio programs that in and of themselves are piecing together the great political puzzle of our times.

I came across a history of the jigsaw puzzle and thought you might be as interested as I was in learning how it all began.

Incidentally, Parker Brothers was established and located in my hometown of Salem, MA, until the company was bought out by Hasbro in 1991.

My latest puzzle, completed this evening while listening to President Trump at the Sioux City, Iowa rally is

Pigeon Forge by Dowdle Puzzles (500 pieces).

  1. Love doing puzzles! I used puzzles as learning & dexterity tools for both my children when they were young. That enjoyment has remained with them even as adults.
