When I was a child, I had a Shirley Temple doll with golden curls and dimples.
Is this one imitating Little Miss Marker?
Mophead, the arrogant little girl with puffed sleeve dress and gold eyelids.
“As seen on TV.”

Because I have so many words…
When I was a child, I had a Shirley Temple doll with golden curls and dimples.
Is this one imitating Little Miss Marker?
Mophead, the arrogant little girl with puffed sleeve dress and gold eyelids.
“As seen on TV.”

One was talented and precious and went on to have a political career. The other can’t even read well, and is a worthless liar. Not even in the same class.
Shirley Temple. How bout little black Raggedy Ann?🤮
I still enjoy watching Shirley Temple movies today. However, if I’m not mistaken there was manipulation and control over her young life. Later years saw her as running for Congress, delegate to the United Nations General Assembly, becoming an Ambassador to Ghana and Czechoslovakia, a chief of Protocol ( government official who heads the protocol department of a state, overseeing security, logistics and etiquette in diplomatic and national functions).
“Temple would later criticize the series in her autobiography, Child Star (via Independent), in which she called them “a cynical exploitation of our childish innocence that occasionally were racist or sexist.” Sounds about right.
They were using children back then…incredibly sad and perverted.
