Yesterday, House Republicans interrupted and then cut short their hearing with Special Counsel Durham so that they could engage in a largely meaningless political stunt (censuring Schiff).
They could have taken that vote at any time, but chose to do it yesterday, at the expense of further time questioning Durham.
Perhaps they ran out of questions. That’s not hard to imagine, given that the questions they did ask of him, while fine and sometimes worthwhile, left a lot to be desired.
There are dozens of great questions they could have asked, such as:
-How many grand juries did you run?
-What did you learn from the phones you got in Italy?
-Are there other investigations ongoing which are connected to your Office’s work or were informed by your Office’s work?
-Do you have any thoughts on McGonigal case in SDNY and his connection to Deripaska and/or Steele Dossier?
-Do you think DOJ should work to declass more documents related to your investigation?
-Do you think the classified annex of your report should be declassed?
-You had the power to declass basically anything you wanted, right? Why didn’t you?
-Why did you seek a subpoena of Bernardo and what did you receive, if anything?
-Why didn’t you investigate the DNC hack?
-You interviewed Hillary Clinton herself in May of 2022. Should a transcript of that meeting be published?
-What would you like to see declassified from your investigation and/or others?
-What is the most important takeaway from your Report that you want every American to know and understand?
-etc etc etc
Overall, the House Judiciary Cmte failed to extract the maximum possible from their hearing with Durham.
And that’s a damn shame.

In addition to the other things we can infer as possibilities from this.
Such as investigations into his business partners, foreign contacts, banks, other Bidens…
