We landed at Bangor International Airport yesterday to sunny skies and mild temps in the 70s. As we made our final approach, the view below of autumnal colors amidst blue lakes and rivers was beautiful. A perfect time of year to visit New England’s northern state.
However… our arrival will be met this weekend with remnants of Phillippe — which in all likelihood will demolish whatever colorful leaves remain on deciduous trees that like to show off their Fall finery. A cold front is forecast to “bang-or into” (see what I did there?) Phillippe, dropping temps with cooler air and gusty winds.
Sorry leaf peepers. Timing is everything.

I always love it when you share your trips to Maine. I save about every photo. Makes me wonder why I am still in Florida.
