  1. How uncanny … recently for several months I have been listening to them and quite often this song has been an ‘ear worm’. Over the years I’ve popped in their ‘greatest hits’ CD now and then, but in the last decade it’s taken it’s place as current event theme music.

I think they’re one of the ’80’s better groups and they’ve racked up quite a few big hits.

I’ve watched quite a few of their official videos on the cabals’ favorite entertainment enterprise, most if not all have huge view numbers. They have a fairly typical backstory for the typical British music artists which is explained in multiple videos on Utube.

They were typical teens when they first got together … with the same confused outlook on life that is prevalent no matter what patch of earth they’re on.

They drifted apart after a handful of years but got back together, again about a handful of years ago and have been touring, albeit with a w_h_o_l_ e lot less energy.

To realize the difference one needs to watch the official music video version of “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”.

I haven’t been able to figure out what motivated this specific song as the early ’80’s was a period of gluttony and a large percentage of spoiled rotten Gen X’ers.

But I have a suspicion that events that have occurred since 2000, especially in Britain and here, influenced them getting back together. As many of us are aware the corruption in England is just as rampant as it is here. They had their evil elite twin to Jeffrey Epstein in Jimmy Savile, although he was never caught before he died.

Unless you flat can’t stand music from the ’80’s I dare you to watch the original music video of this song and think your brain can shut it off.

There is at least one version that has the words to it. It’s worth looking for it.

Can you figure out the reason the song was created?

    And, unfortunately, we are older.

      1. WOW! That’s wild!

Who’d a thunk there would be philosophers interpreting that song for 20+ years and that many? It’s obviously worthy of contemplating …

Still … more questions than answers. Ain’t that the way it is sometimes?
