Dear Lord, Heavenly Father, on this 1st day of another New Year, please look kindly upon us and receive our heartfelt gratitude. In Your infinite generosity, please grant us continued graces and blessing throughout the coming year.
Guide us by Your Holy Spirit that our light may shine before others, give birth to a new spiritual life within them, and to bestow a desire to know God, to draw near to Him, and to have a loving relationship with Him.
Our blessings are many and our hearts filled with gratefulness for the gift of living, for the ability to love and be loved, for a mind that thinks and a body that feels, for the opportunity to see the everyday wonders of creation, but most of all for Your gift of salvation and Your unconditional and eternal love.
We pray this through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen
