Sometimes we should stop and smell the roses…

Or other flora.

Yellow Bells, a flowering shrub also known as Allamanda or Trumpetbush. Can be invasive. Also known as Tabebuia, they come in pink and purple too.

Bougainvillea. A beautiful ornamental in various shades of pink, peach, and purple. But don’t get too close. The thorns are long and sharp.

Rubber Fig, otherwise known as a ficus elastica.Despite its common name, it is not used in the commercial production of natural rubber.

Zz Plant, virtually indestructible, this plant likes to be ignored. And need very little watering. Curling leaves, yellowing and leaning can all be an indication of too much light. When you notice curling it typically means the plant is trying to move away from the light source.

  1. While we live daily in very scary times, stopping for something as simple as smelling a flower or bush for a couple of seconds will refresh our memory of why we are God’s people and we only have to ask for a blessing and he will provide it
