In a time where life expectancy was much shorter and life conditions were demanding, “youth” grew up fast, bolstered by the training and examples of their parents and community. We’ve progressively cooled our youth, delaying their maturation, along with indoctrinating them in our education system. They are “above” the work our ancestors did…..too “valuable” to get their hands dirty or perform physical labor. Instead, they advocate for the “slave labor” from third world countries to do that labor, although most of those are sitting on streets and in housing at our expense……..oh, wait, so are many of our “entitled” youth…….
