We had our beachside townhouse painted recently. A lovely and appropriate beach shade of aqua. (Sherwin Williams Aquaverde and Tidewater) Photos below. I’m inspired to freshen up the landscape, so have spent quite a bit of time outdoors puttering while acquiring a deepening tan.
This morning I walked to the beach to view the launch of an Atlas rocket set to transport Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, two “astronauts” on board the NASA/Boeing Starliner, who will rendezvous with the International Space Station. Unfortunately, the onboard computer signaled a red light at 3:50 before lift-off, resulting in a “scrub” for today. Another try will be attempted tomorrow with launch time set for 12:03PM from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This mission requires that launch time must be precise to guarantee the ISS connection.
What are we seeing from space? Plenty, according to “MonkeyWerx” who monitors the skies using high-end equipment.

So after undergoing another “tanning session” at the beach while waiting for the lift-off and watching rough surf/ wave action caused by the northeasterlies blowing in, it was a pleasant stay despite the scrub. In fact, it’s always a good day when I’ve got my feet in sand.
Posting is light… in favor of spending some creative time puttering around the homestead. We all need a break, amiright?

Perfect colors, remember when we all “voted” for your choices, result looks awesome! Glad to hear it cooled down a bit at the beach on the Atlantic side. We were in Venice Fl for a few days this week. WAY too hot to even walk on the beach @ 99F+ for the days we were there, and the Gulf water temps are NOT refreshing. This worried us a bit with hurricane season starting today. Pool at the condo had to suffice, that water was great…. 🙂 Nice today here in Central Fla with temps in the 80’s instead of upper 90’s. Recharging batteries here as well getting ready for the battles ahead!!
