We all suffer from email overload. This morning, I opened mine to find 1,598 unread messages… most of it stuff I’ll never get to. It’s just overwhelming, and can easily cause me to hyperventilate if I let it.
Bulk delete is the answer, right? UNSUBSCRIBE is another solution to mail that comes in unsolicited when my email address is shared on mail lists for profit.
However… having said all that, I occasionally get pieces that grab my attention and a click (which does me no good when the mail list sender gets feedback that I’ve done so…)
Today’s click bait contained the following info that is sure to impress family and friends when I WOW them with today’s trivia.
Example:
From INTERESTING FACTS…

AND THIS…

How did I ever live this long without knowing these things?

OH I complain about today’s email too. I remember when it was new. The Sender was always the top line – such as Radio Patriot. THEN I know it’s from Radio Patriot. .
But alas – not anymore! Emails today place their subject matter – and often THAT is a totally fake one – on the top line so you don’t know who it’s from until you mouse and dig a bit deeper. Example: Russian Warships Destroyed By Ukraine. THAT’s the ‘from’ line. (Till you mouse poke it). Email is now 99.99% trashed; it’s a carnival. A bizarre of sideshows.
I feel your pain. I have spent hours going into each mail and unsubscribe each one, only to see them pop back up sometimes under a changed name.
