Rain rain go away… come back again another day.
Not singing that song today as we badly need the rain. It seems that what we’ve lacked this unusually hot, dry summer, is being made up for with this tropical storm.
Today is a work day for me at Cruise Terminal #3. I pity the passengers without umbrellas who’ll be lining up outdoors getting soaked while waiting for their Group Number to be called inside for check-in.
It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring…

Just don’t bump your head!
Southeast coast, about an hour and a half south of Melborne is Port St. Lucie, St. Lucie County.
About ten minutes south is Martin County, about five more minutes to where I built my house in Jensen Beach, a one yellow flashing light town.
Lookie there… clear skies. The last storm there (that I know of) was Hurricane David in the spring/summer of ’79. I drove in there January 4, 1980.
The whole decade of the 80’s the daytime weather was from 75 to 82… almost all year long. In the spring/summer the airstream moved closer to the coast so there was almost always a nice breeze.

How many times have I emphasized being prepared? Many times over many years.
Where is your boat?
No, that’s not your boat. That is a ship.
YOUR boat.
Row, row, row your boat…
I hope you ducked.
