Last Friday my youngest brother called and announced that he planned to get his twelfth COVID-19 shot, cut off genitals, and send all of his money to Ukraine. I lauded him for embarking on such a sensible project of personal and civic improvement.
Haha. Just joking!
Just so you know, we are OK here in Cape Canaveral. The Eye of Horus Milton passed over us in the predawn as it whirled its way to our Florida neighbors to the north. Thankful there’s minor to very little damage here… a few downed branches, debris scuttling about in the wind, some power outages, etc. On a walk to the beach later today we’ll see what’s left of it. Thank you all for your concern. Fortunately we made it through unscathed. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for our neighbor to the south in Cocoa Beach and beyond, or to our north in Titusville and northerly points. Pray for those on Florida’s west coast who were not as fortunate. Wondering how much our homeowners and flood insurance will cost us next year…
