Additionally, she is lying about her attempts at damage control for her legacy. Elderly individuals like herself often struggle to transition into retirement, fiercely holding on out of a fear of feeling useless.
In doing so, they remain in positions of influence without compassion for the negativity they bring to others or the harm caused by their unwillingness to step aside.
She has hurt a lot of people over the years—don’t feel sorry for her. Had she possessed better judgment, she would have retired at least 10 years ago, paving the way for a candidate better suited to represent the values and perspectives of today’s generation.
