I don’t think this John Kass quite GETS IT. In reference to Trumpian guts he wonders if a Democrat needs that attribute.
With Trump it’s much MORE than being about his guts. It’s always been about the issues. That Trump embraced loudly the exact same issues we the silent majority hold. These things (issues and guts) are what rocketed Trump. For a Dem to achieve much the same, they’d need to espouse the same patriotic issues and MEAN IT.
But their goal is only always about being in power.
