The U.S. House of Representatives on Friday decisively approved a bill to extend government funding through March, with a vote of 366-34. The bill now moves to the Senate.
The legislation, spanning 118 pages, was introduced by GOP leaders shortly after 4:30 p.m.
Johnson unveiled his updated proposal during Friday’s meeting. The new bill closely resembles the version that failed on Thursday but removes the provision for suspending the debt ceiling. It now focuses on three key components: a clean short-term extension of government funding, billions in disaster relief, and additional billions in aid for farmers.
So hoping the Biolab funding and Baby organs and blood are out of it.
