“It was brutal”

Brutal. I haven’t seen a single image or videos from LA in the last twelve hours showing a fire crew putting water on a single home or structure. There appears to be no water left in the hydrants. None.” – X

Somehow, I just can’t find any pity in my heart for the Leftists in Malibu, Palisades, Los Angeles, et al.

They got what they voted for.

President-elect Donald Trump said Wednesday that the wildfires ripping through the Los Angeles region were “a true tragedy” and blamed the disaster in part on the state’s Democratic governor.

Speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill after meeting with Republican lawmakers, Trump criticized Gov. Gavin Newsom for the scarcity of water that has made it harder to fight fires that have killed at least five people. He didn’t explain what the governor could have done about the dry, windy conditions.

“This is a true tragedy and it’s a mistake of the governor, and you could say the administration,” Trump said.“The governor has not done a good job,” Trump said. “With that being said, I got along well with him when he was governor, we worked together very well. And we would work together — I guess it looks like we’re going to be the one having to rebuild it.”

Trump, who spoke for about seven minutes, said that on the first day of his administration he would close the border. “It’s going to be closed very strongly,” he said, adding that he would “take people out who were criminals.”

Trump also said that prior to his visit to the Capitol he met with members of President Jimmy Carter’s family at Blair House. Asked about potentially acquiring Greenland via military action, Trump said he was pleased with the reception his son and other representatives received during a visit there on Tuesday. “It was like a lovefest,” Trump said.

  1. Even in the face of the realization of their choices, some will NOT connect those dots, but will seek to blame others. Their refusal to learn is not something that can be fixed……..and eventually , you must stop trying to enlighten them…for your own sanity. Pity the people who knew the truth and wanted to stay to try to fix their state………..

Heard several people express the view that the levels of fire and damage are “unusual”, “ unprecedented”………..my mind immediately ran the rabbit hole……..blue state, catastrophic, Maui, Asheville……..could it be this was “amped” intentionally…….. before you shake your head…..lay out ALL the sticky notes: brush, no water, electricity for pumps, fire equipment to Ukraine, firefighters fired over vax, DEI for hiring, etc……….

God be with those who are impacted………..

  2. have you seen the list of “celebrities” houses that have burned to the ground?… i wonder if they are hiding something! Besides, we all know about the tunnels under L.A….. that lead straight to houses in the middle of the fire.

time will tell. I predict the next will be a volcano eruption that will essentially shut down the port of Portland….

again, time will tell…. but the fire reminds me of Colorado “grass fire” and Lahaina….

  3. LA Mayor Bass cut millions of dollars out of LA City Fire’s budget, essentially crippling the air units (planes and helicopters) which would would have been a tremendous resource to help fight the Palisades fire which sits blocks off of the Pacific Ocean aka water source. Not to mention cuts in overtime to our fire fighters in LA. LA County on the other hand has a much more robust budget and better use of their resources.

I find it ironic that there was no water in the hydrants in the Palisades…just like Maui. I also find it ironic that once the news reported Santa Ana winds were headed our way…fire broke out immediately.

I have two family members, both fire fighters for two different departments, were sent to LA for mutual aid, to battle these fires…and the resources are scarce. They are being sent into the raging infernos with squirt guns for Christ sake! Dry windy conditions are just that…dry fire hydrants are a whole new level of evil!

For the record I did not vote for these fuckheads…we have more Libtards than people with common sense in California. I do not want to be associated with these pieces of dog excrement!

Please keep our fire fighters and first responders in your prayers!

  4. I watched a video last night of the eruption of the fire in a canyon on a hillside near Hollywood Hills. It was sudden and massive in the way that it hit the hillside, like a bomb, a weather bomb! Did not look like a naturally-occurring wildfire. SmartLA2028 are the city planners’ plans to turn the Pacific Palisades area into a 15-minute city in time for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. Lahaina redux. Another land-grab by globalist planners seeking to corral Americans in our second-largest city into futuristic ghettos to make it easier for them to prey on us.
