This note is to follow up on a phone message I left you this morning about empty FEMA trailers being stored in a parking lot in Cocoa Florida which I am given to understand are going to be sold (at auction?) soon.
Being aware of the dire situation our neighbors to the north in North Carolina who have been affected by the terrible hurricane related flooding of FOUR months ago, and having gotten little to no relief or assistance from the federal government (FEMA), I am writing to ask Governor DeSantis to look into this and determine if those vacant and unused FEMA trailers parked in Cocoa, FL can be sent to those folks who are suffering in the mountains (Chimney Rock, etc) in the cold of winter. They desperately need replacement homes/housing.
A few more fortunate (?) families are in campers, but those are certainly it is not sufficient. Others are living in one-room sheds.
A 501.c3 ministry called Haven on the Hill (MightyFortressMinistries.com) 865-296-8805. Facebook: Haven on the Hill is assisting, but can only do what they can with limited resources.
Please ask Gov. DeSantis to reach out and do whatever can be done to help our NC neighbors who have received little to no assistance from FEMA.
Also… Swannanoa, NC needs disaster relief. The need has been so great, some people are living amongst debris that has not been picked up. They don’t have vehicles to do it by themselves. To learn more, go to ValleyStrongDisasterRelief.org
This is not acceptable, nor is it enough. This is criminal negligence by government officials.
There shouldn’t be a penny that goes out to California (wildfires) until this situation in NC is addressed and rectified.
The only help they’re getting to survive is neighbor helping neighbor and what the volunteer ministries are able to provide. Local government officials are reportedly playing politics by ignoring those affected by the hurricane. Contact: ProjectYourHome.com

I live in California, (CA), and I’ve observed that moneys sent to CA are used for Newsom’s enrichment, not Californians. Sending more money to CA is egregious and only supports the plans of total destruction aimed at our state. President Trump, think long and hard about supporting the annihilation players in CA who only plan to use monetary grants against the people. KayD
