I’m sorry if I offend anyone who isn’t a first/oldest sibling, but I believe the following to be true. SO true.

All I want to say to those who benefited by the oldest sibling is this:

  1. So true……we’re the “guinea pigs” when we start out, and dealt with much more strictly than all the siblings who follow….and then the primary caregivers when our parents are on their way out, as it should be…..especially if the eldest is a daughter, IMHO….. 🙂

  2. I seriously doubt the thought would have crossed either of my younger siblings’ minds.

    I’ll take a wild guess and venture to say IF they had awareness they actually might be thankful.

    I won’t list all of the reasons that would be muttered or yelled for not having “an oldest kid in the family day”…

    That’s life, yanno.
