NESARA & GESARA – TRUTH OR FICTION?

Let’s challenge GROK to give us the answer.

What is Nesara Gesara and are either valid theories?

GROK:

NESARA (National Economic Security and Reformation Act) and GESARA (Global Economic Security and Reformation Act) are concepts rooted in a mix of economic reform proposals and conspiracy theories.

Below is an explanation of each and an assessment of their validity based on available evidence.

### What is NESARA?

NESARA originated in the 1990s as a set of economic reform proposals by Harvey Francis Barnard, an American engineer with a PhD in systems theory. His book, *Draining the Swamp: Monetary and Fiscal Policy Reform* (1996), outlined ideas to address economic issues in the United States, including:

– Abolishing compound interest on loans.

– Replacing income tax with a national sales tax.

– Returning the U.S. currency to a gold or bimetallic standard to eliminate debt and stabilize the economy.

Barnard printed 1,000 copies of his proposal and sent them to Congress, hoping for legislative adoption, but it never gained traction or was introduced as formal legislation.

In 2000, Barnard released the proposal to the public domain, and in 2001, he established the NESARA Institute.

In the early 2000s, the narrative around NESARA was co-opted by conspiracy theorists, primarily through Shaini Candace Goodwin, known as “Dove of Oneness.”

Goodwin claimed that NESARA was secretly passed by Congress in 2000, signed into law by President Bill Clinton, and suppressed by the George W. Bush administration and the Supreme Court.

She alleged it was set to be announced on September 11, 2001, but was thwarted by the World Trade Center attacks, which destroyed data related to “prosperity funds.”

These claims added fantastical elements, including:

– Widespread debt forgiveness (mortgages, credit cards, etc.).

– The abolition of the Federal Reserve.

– The introduction of a new financial system to benefit average citizens.

Goodwin’s version of NESARA gained a cult-like following online, with her emails translated into multiple languages. She solicited donations and frequent flyer miles, claiming they were needed to meet with global officials to enact NESARA.

### What is GESARA?

GESARA is an extension of the NESARA conspiracy narrative, reframed as a global initiative—either the *Global Economic Security and Recovery Act* or *Global Economic Security and Reformation Act*.

It emerged in the mid-2010s and incorporates NESARA’s promises on a worldwide scale, including:

– A global currency reset to revalue all currencies and redistribute wealth.

– Elimination of global poverty and hunger through equitable resource distribution.

– Release of suppressed technologies, such as free energy and advanced medical treatments.

– The dismantling of corrupt global financial systems controlled by a “cabal” or “deep state.”

Proponents, including figures like Alcuin Bramerton, have claimed GESARA involves secret agreements with global entities, such as the “White Dragon Society” or the “Saint Germain World Trust,” which would provide vast sums (e.g., “one quattuordecillion US dollars”) to cancel debts worldwide.

These claims often tie GESARA to spiritual or cosmic events, like a “Great Awakening” or a new “golden age.”

GESARA has been linked to other conspiracy movements, such as QAnon and sovereign citizen ideologies, and has evolved to include modern figures like Donald Trump as central to its enactment.

Some versions claim it involves thousands of secret patents or a return to the gold standard.

GESARA: From 9/11 ‘truth’ to global economic conspiracy

### Core Claims and Beliefs Both NESARA and GESARA promise transformative economic and social reforms:

– **Debt Forgiveness**: Cancellation of personal, corporate, and national debts.

– **Financial System Overhaul**: Replacement of existing systems (e.g., the Federal Reserve) with a new, equitable system, often tied to a gold-backed currency.

– **Wealth Redistribution**: Programs like universal basic income to eliminate poverty.

– **Suppressed Technologies**: Release of innovations for free energy, health, and prosperity.

– **Conspiracy Narrative**: A secretive “cabal” or “deep state” suppresses these reforms, countered by heroic figures or groups (e.g., “White Knights”) fighting for their implementation.

– **Spiritual Dimension**: Especially in GESARA, claims often involve cosmic or spiritual shifts, portraying the reforms as part of a divine or planetary awakening.

### Validity of NESARA and GESARA Theories

The validity of NESARA and GESARA can be assessed by examining their origins, evidence, and real-world implications.

#### NESARA – **Barnard’s Original Proposal**:

Barnard’s ideas were a legitimate, if fringe, attempt to propose economic reforms. They were grounded in his belief that debt and compound interest were major economic inhibitors.

However, the proposal was never introduced in Congress, and there is no evidence it was seriously considered by lawmakers.

The Library of Congress and the U.S. Treasury Department have explicitly stated there is no record of NESARA as legislation.

https://001.arktimes.com/nesara-gesara-what-it-means-and-why-you-should-be-skeptical/)

– **Conspiracy Version**: The narrative popularized by Goodwin lacks any verifiable evidence. Claims of secret passage, gag orders, or connections to 9/11 are unsupported by official records or credible sources.

The idea that NESARA was set to be announced on September 11, 2001, but was stopped by a “cabal” relies on speculation and has been debunked as a baseless conspiracy theory.

Critics note that the scale of reforms proposed would require extensive public debate and legislative action, none of which has occurred.

https://001.arktimes.com/nesara-gesara-what-it-means-and-why-you-should-be-skeptical/)

– **Real-World Impact**: Belief in NESARA has led to real consequences. For example, in a 2022 British Columbia court case, Karen Lew argued that her mortgage was forgiven due to NESARA/GESARA, but the court rejected this, upholding foreclosure. Such cases highlight how belief in these theories can lead to financial harm.

#### GESARA

– **Lack of Evidence**: GESARA has no documented basis as a real policy or initiative. It appears to be an evolution of NESARA’s conspiracy narrative, expanded to a global scale. Claims of secret agreements, vast trusts, or involvement of groups like the “White Dragon Society” are unverifiable and often sourced from anonymous online forums or alternative media.

https://learnmore.charlestonsouthern.edu/interviews/understanding-nesara-gesara-unveiling-the-truth.html

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NESARA

– **Connection to Other Conspiracies**: GESARA’s integration with QAnon and other movements suggests it thrives in environments of distrust in institutions. Its spiritual and cosmic elements, such as references to a “quantum financial system” or “intergalactic trade,” further detach it from reality.

https://www.intechopen.com/online-first/86613

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/369587497_Revaluation_fantasy)

– **Cultural Appeal**: GESARA resonates with those dissatisfied with global economic systems, tapping into hopes for equity and prosperity.

However, its lack of concrete plans or verifiable mechanisms makes it a speculative fantasy rather than a feasible policy.

#### Broader Risks – **Financial Scams**: Both NESARA and GESARA have been used to promote fraudulent investment schemes or solicit donations, exploiting believers’ trust.

https://stage.dance.washington.edu/what-is-nesara-gesara-unveiling-the-conspiracy-theories-and-potential-impacts/

– **Erosion of Trust**: These theories undermine faith in institutions, encouraging reliance on unverified sources over credible ones, which can deepen social divisions and fuel extremism.

https://001.arktimes.com/nesara-gesara-what-it-means-and-why-you-should-be-skeptical/)

– **Psychological Impact**: While offering hope, these narratives can lead to disillusionment when promised changes fail to materialize, as timelines are often vague or shift when predictions fail.

### Current Sentiment on X Posts on X reflect ongoing belief in NESARA/GESARA among some communities, often framing them as imminent or already unfolding behind the scenes.

For example, users like @realNesaraG and @Whiplash437 claim a “global reset” is near, promising no taxes, illegal mortgages, and an end to poverty.

Others, like @danaan_elena, express skepticism, citing a lack of evidence. These posts illustrate the polarized sentiment but are inconclusive without verifiable backing.

### Conclusion – **NESARA**:

Barnard’s original proposal was a theoretical economic reform with no legislative traction. The conspiracy version, popularized by Goodwin, is unsupported by evidence and widely regarded as a cult-like fantasy. It lacks credibility due to the absence of official records and reliance on unverifiable claims.

– **GESARA**: An extension of NESARA’s conspiracy narrative, GESARA amplifies the promises to a global scale but is equally baseless. Its ties to other conspiracy movements and lack of concrete evidence make it a speculative narrative rather than a valid theory.

– **Critical Assessment**: Both NESARA and GESARA appeal to desires for economic justice but fail to provide verifiable plans or evidence. Their reliance on secret agreements, shadowy cabals, and shifting timelines aligns with classic conspiracy theory patterns.

Believers risk financial loss, eroded trust in institutions, and social isolation.

Critical evaluation and reliance on reputable sources (e.g., government records, academic analyses) are essential to separate fact from fiction.

  1. Thank you, Andrea.

Harvey Barnard had to be quite intelligent; a critical thinker. At some point the ‘inner circle’ had to become aware of his proposals and they may have, in general, agreed somewhat to the concepts of his proposals:

    – Abolishing compound interest on loans.

    – Replacing income tax with a national sales tax.

    – Returning the U.S. currency to a gold or bimetallic standard to eliminate debt and stabilize the economy.

Even though we’re not at the end of the final act we don’t know exactly what will be implemented… President Trump hates ‘the Fed’ and may very well shut it down.

The way he has spoken for a long time about strengthening our currency by backing it with precious metals falls in line with Barnards’ third concept.

I don’t believe he has made direct statements about eliminating income tax but he did mention a few times during the campaign rallies that tariffs could replace income tax although that wasn’t one of his public promises.

Some of his promises that were put in the OBBB passed and became law which may have been influenced by Baranards’ idea abolishing compound interest on loans, which would be an excellent move and might be in his plans for later, with the elimination of taxes on overtime, tips and Social Security. I don’t agree with a national sales tax… that would justify keeping the IRS. Hell NO. I do think he will eventually eliminate the IRS and abolish the 16th Amendment.

Early on when I was on Telegram and not Twit I got sucked into the NESARA/GESARA hype from PAY-triots and got my hopes up, but that floundered when I couldn’t find enough current data to satisfactorily answer my questions, leaving me quite suspicious. Unfortunately some of those PAY-triot clowns are still around and even on Rumble… like the two Brits, one of them claims he’s half alien and the other never has anything verifiably original to say.

I have a strong feeling there will be many actions our President will make that will be wonderful and great for the nation that we have absolutely no idea about.

I believe him when he says, “You’re going to love how this movie ends.”

    1. What’s your take on Dr Scott Young?……he speaks all the time about this like it’s a real thing & imminent, has even had interviews with Tucker and many books/youTubes, etc……as far as those 2 Brits, Charlie Ward and Simon Parks (I think those are the names)….agree they both seem like grifters….check out this link to a Dr Young video….https://youtu.be/yJ7tz7-meDA

      1. I would also like to know about Dr. Scot Young and have watched several of his YouTube videos. I used to watch Charlie Ward and Simon Parks as well, but haven’t in a long time.

I was hoping it was true regarding Nasara/Gisara, but it sounds now like maybe it was a pipe dream. Perhaps Trump can accomplish part of it with a slow roll, but debt forgiveness, etc., may not be feasible, In the way described by the above folks.
        Heavy sigh!
