It’s Sunday morning, and I’m cozy on the couch with coffee and computer. I’m watching the interview Shawn Ryan did with Steve Robinson, investigative reporter and founder of The Maine Wire, an alternative news source for Mainers who have been fed a steady diet of propaganda for decades from the TV “news” outlets and the propagandist fake news Bangor Daily and Portland Press Herald.
People here don’t seem to understand what’s going on in their backyard. If they do, they’re feeling defeated because their state legislature and governor are not responsive to what’s really important: protecting them from the enemies within. Maine’s legislature convenes in Augusta, some two hours south of our Maine home, and from what I know of it, it is not now, nor has it ever met the needs and protection of the taxpaying citizens. Perhaps back in the day, but certainly not since they discovered they could make empty promises to get re-elected.
With the exception the coastal areas where wealthy leftists have political control of Maine, it is an aging state with a large population of fixed income elderly who are literally being taxed to death by a complacent legislative machine that has “served” its constituents for decades while feeding at the trough.
It is a beautiful state, but cut into it and you’ll find the political rot runs deep. Sad…
Anyway, I’m watching this very alarming and revealing interview with Robinson, and it is unsettling, to say the least. It runs 2 and a half hours in length, but maybe you should know that what’s happening here in Maine is more than likely happening in your state too. Suggestion? It behooves you to watch this and become informed on one of the ways a devious China is killing us.
…
OK, a fresh cup of coffee and I’m back on the couch, back to the video… brace yourself. You’ll need to.
