There have been at least two RP posts I commented on where I strongly recommended buying silver. I started buying silver around 2010 if I remember correctly… a little at a time, up to ten ounces every time, pinching pennies when I could.
At that time silver was wavering between $15-17 an ounce. The most I’ve paid was $25 an ounce.
IF you have been one of the fortunate to be in a position to buy gold you’ve been following it to a historically record high, now over $4,000 an ounce.
What is happening now, without a doubt, is unprecedented.
The future of precious metals is only going to increase in value for the foreseeable future with silver and gold in extremely high demand due to it’s almost perfect electrical conductivity required for the manufacturing in much of our advanced technology.
I’m cautiously optimistic about an apocalyptic SHTF scenario not happening in our future although I believe I’m ready for whatever transpires.
I believe one cannot have too much of either. Suffice it to say I would opt for purchasing more silver than more ammo.
This is where critical thinking and common sense play an integral part; which commodity will be more valuable and rewarding when this ‘movie’ ends?
