The Pentagon’s new press rules are about accountability, not censorship.
For years, bureaucrats leaked classified details to shape narratives while dodging oversight.
Hegseth’s policy forces transparency—reporters can’t demand unauthorized info that jeopardizes ops.
Real journalists report facts, not hunt scoops that endanger troops.
This isn’t suppression; it’s ending the DC media’s backchannel access racket.
If outlets prefer theatrics over respecting security protocols, their exit proves they cared more about insider games than truth.

Dozens of reporters from nearly all major news agencies cleared out their offices today at the Pentagon, before turning in their press badges together at 4:00pm, after every news outlet beside one, refused to sign a “pledge” Tuesday from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth agreeing to new rules and restrictions imposed on the Pentagon Press Corps. Why should ANY news agency have an office at the pentagon. They could reduce that place 90% and still have too much light bill to pay out of USA citizens pockets.
They could destroy all of DC because the streets are in shape of a pentagram symbol….pure satanic, that’s my opinion!!!
