WE THE PEOPLE DID THIS — TEXAS IS GROUND ZERO
Congressman Keith Self has formally launched the Sharia Free America Caucus, declaring what grassroots Texans have been warning for years:
“Texas is ground zero in this fight.”
This moment didn’t come from think tanks or consultants.
It came from citizens who refused to be silenced — and from sustained investigative work exposing real-world developments on the ground, including reporting by RAIR Foundation USA.
Self did not mince words, describing Sharia as:
“A culture of violence and domination totally incompatible with individual freedoms, our Constitution, and our heritage.”
He pointed to specific, ongoing issues in Texas, including:
Muslim-only housing developments in planning or operation, including The Meadows and EPIC City
EPIC City now under investigation by the State of Texas
Documented incidents of intimidation and enforcement behavior
An unauthorized Quran distribution inside a taxpayer-funded high school in his district
Self urged Texans to vote in the March 3 proposition to ban Sharia, warning:
“As Texas goes, so goes the nation — and as the nation goes, so goes the world.”
The movement is expanding fast:
33 members of Congress
18 states represented
This is what happens when citizens organize, document, and persist.
Washington is responding — because the people forced it to.
(NOTE: I believe it is exactly what Trump wanted and planned for. The people need to wake up, rise up, and help him fix the illegal immigrant / Islamic problems.)
We did this. Texas did this.
And it proves something fundamental: when citizens refuse to surrender, hard work pays off.
