My friend Marylou and I used to work at Kennedy Space Center. She sent these photos with the following note:
“A friend of mine sent these to me….AWESOME photos of Shuttle Discovery’s landing and move to its hangar for prep to be sent on to DC! Gives you a great perspective of the size of the darling. Check out the burned and missing tiles on the shuttle. Most folks don’t get to take or see photos like these. Enjoy!“
