I am a school bus driver near the area where Rifqa Bary lived
& where the case played itself out in the local media. Despite
all the well-documented, empirical evidence of “honor killing”
or physical abuse/punishment, etc. inflicted in the name of Islam, our local media responded with thinly veiled incredulity & scorn to Ms. Bary’s testimony regarding her well-founded fears of returning home after daring to leave the “death cult”
of her family. All this talk in the MSM about religious freedom as
guaranteed by our Constitution are meaningless–Islam is not a true religion; in my opinion, it is tyranny & oppression
in which a pedophile prophet dictates every aspect of one’s
social, cultural, political, philosophical & familial life!!
