The other night I got an email from Mabel, one of my faithful radio show listeners. Mabel lives in Central Florida, and she’s alarmed to learn that the attorney who represented the family of Rifqa Bary might very well assume a position of influence and power in the judicial system.
Rifqa ran away from her family in Ohio last year to find sanctuary with a Christian couple she knew in Florida. She feared for her life, convinced her Islamic father was going to kill her for “shaming” her Islamic family. Rifqa’s crime? She converted from Islam to Christianity.
A lawsuit was filed by her parents to court order Rifqa back to Ohio. Remember, Rifqa fled to Florida in fear for her life, panicked that her father intended to murder her in an Honor Killing per Sharia Law for her conversion to Christianity. Rifka testified that there had been physical abuse. Her brother had permanently injured her, resulting in the loss of sight in one eye.
The trial lawyer representing Rifqa’s parents in the case against Rifqa was Shayan Elahi, an American Muslim (his words, according to Mabel). He also represents CAIR, the Council on Islamic Relations.

I have been unable to sleep over this.
I was reviewing my sample ballot and decided to check out the Judges since I knew nothing about them. I was shocked. (Note: Florida’s Primary Election is Aug 24th).
One of the candidates is a CAIR lawyer named Orlando Trial Attorney Shayan Elahi, an American Muslim (his words) working for Rifqa’s father. I do not know anyone who is aware of this. This lawyer is anti-Christian and must be stopped.
Elahi is running in Orange and Osceola counties for Circuit Judge (Ninth Judicial Circuit, Group 6).
His opponent is Rand Wallis.
Who is Shayan Elahi?
Shayan Elahi went to a “Christian” school in Pakistan (St Patrick’s High School, Karachi 1983-1987), he is not a Christian… in this 2005 opinion piece * http://www.pakistanlink.com/Opinion/2005/Jan05/07/08.htm he clearly labels himself a Muslim American. *no longer on the Web.

This could be one big nightmare if people are not informed. It is a hot issue and I am afraid the media will not cover it. The Orlando Sentinal has been on the side of the father all along.

Andrea-sometimes there are no words. Last week my new Time came with the picture of Aisha on the cover. The pain must have been horrendous for her and look at her eyes-such a beautiful girl and so young to be so wounded in so many ways. This is in the nature of man’s inhumanity to man. People who commit these acts, any and all who support them continue to remind of Hitler’s SS-first torture, then murder, then genocide?
How sad. I know that scripture tells us this will happen just before the Second Coming of Christ, but I did not believe I would live to see it in my time. All I can say is they will have to kill me to get me to denounce God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. My heart goes out to these poor innocent young women who, it appears, have no choice in the matter. How disgusting is this “religion” they call Islam. Peaceful my foot!
