Yep, those darn birthers. They just don’t know when to quit. As many times as we’ve verbally spanked, insulted, castigated, polarized and mocked ’em, they just don’t know enough to sit down and shut up.
They’re like a virus, an irritating itch, an annoying cult that just keeps on growing. Is there no end to this? Good grief. They don’t get the message!
Give me a break. Obama’s birthplace and past records aren’t important. So what if his father is Kenyan! We’ve got bigger issues to deal with. More important intellectual stuff. Like national security. The economy. Illegal aliens. Real issues.
So you won’t believe it when I tell you what these birther nuts are doing now.
Three dozen lawmakers in Arizona are drinking the birther koolaid. They’ve written legislation to — wait for it… force a presidential candidate to provide proof of their natural born citizenship. As if they didn’t have anything better to do with taxpayer money. I mean, come on!
For crying out loud, don’t they get it? Could someone please tell them the Constitution is passe. Irrelevant. Hey! Even Arizona’s U.S. Senator says so, and he should know: his birth cert was given a clean bill of health. By the Senate, no less…
“McCain disagreed with an audience member who suggested presidential candidates as well as their parents should have to be born in the United States.
McCain also questioned if being born in the United States should still be a requirement for presidential candidates.
“If someone (was born elsewhere) and came here as a 1 year old, and served a productive life, I’m not sure,” McCain said.”
So like, how stupid do you have to be to believe that men who wrote the Constitution after a bloody revolution knew what they were doing. Everyone knows we’re a lot smarter than they were. Come on. Thomas freaking Jefferson?
Crap, these wigged-out idiots included God when they founded the country. Duh! Anyone tell them about separation of church and state?
So now, some dumbass lawmakers in Arizona have proposed a law that will make state officials independently verify the accuracy of newly required documents affirming the constitutional eligibility of any candidate for the U.S. presidency.
Sheesh, how stupid is that? Ignorant birthers. Don’t know enough to leave well enough alone.
“Certainly, there has been controversy over President Obama and his birth certificate, where he was born, etc.,” state Sen. Sylvia Allen, R-Snowflake, told the Arizona Capitol Times. “It just makes sense and will stop any controversy in the future to just show you are a natural born citizen.”
Sylvia from Snowflake is one of about three dozen lawmakers to sign on as co-sponsors. (Eye roll).
“The plan would accomplish essentially the same thing as that proposed by that “birther” Rep. Bill Posey, R-Fla., on the federal level.”
I tell you, there’s just no end to this lunacy. I mean, everybody knows Obama was born in Hawaii. It was in the newspaper! Just ask Bill O’Reilly who says he could get a copy of the birth certificate any time. Anytime! Oh my. Seems that video has been removed. No matter, here’s Bill telling those dummies why they shouldn’t pursue it…
Or Glenn Beck.
