Palin will be the featured speaker at an upcoming event in Daytona Beach.  Here’s the scoop (thanks to Jan Moody for the info):

The Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce has moved its 90th Annual Meeting, originally scheduled to be held at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort, to the Ocean Center.

The venue change is due to an overwhelming increase in ticket sales for the event, which will feature former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The 90^th Annual Meeting will be held on President’s Day, Monday, February 15, 2010. “Sarah Palin is arguably the most sought after speaker in America and we have seen an exponential increase in reservations as we get closer and closer to the event. It is important to let those wishing to hear the Governor have that opportunity.  All I can say is you better get your ticket now.  Ticket sales are 64% higher today than the actual day of event ticket sales last year and we still have two weeks to go,” said 2009 Chamber Chairman Ted Doran.
