Mad Men

Mad Men, now in its 4th season, can be seen on AMC every Sunday night. It is must see TV — I set aside my time to spend with Don Draper and the Agency at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.  Wouldn’t miss it.

Ed Driscoll has written an interesting take on last week’s episode, The Chrysanthemum and the Sword, in which partner Roger Sterling’s animosity toward the Japanese he fought in WWII has a residual effect on potential client Honda motorcycle and auto maker.

Worth a read, especially if you’re as into the award-winning Mad Men series as I am.

Hint:  Enhance your viewing pleasure by participating in the live thread Talk Forum.  You can pick up a lot of the subtleties and nuances you might have missed on the first viewing (I confess to watching the back-to-back replay, just to savor the program and catch the clues and visual references I missed on the first go around).

Mad Men.  So cool, it’s almost obscene…
