On our next-to-last rally on Nov. 1st during the Tea Party Express’ recent “Liberty at the Ballot Box” national tour, my son Gary and daughter-in-law Tami brought their family to Worcester, MA to see “Grandma” and watch her “do her thing” to inspire Americans to vote.
When I stepped onto a makeshift stage (a wall), I invited Madison, age 9, and her older brother Tyler, 12, to join me.
Most of the folks gathered before us looked like they were probably grandparents too, so I spoke to them about how it is our obligation to educate our grandchildren about our country’s history and its exceptionalism.
Following my remarks, I asked Tyler and Madison if they had anything they wanted to say. Tyler demurred. But little Madison nodded yes, so I handed her the mic.
Her off the cuff remark?
“I just want to thank all the people who risked their lives to give us freedom.”
Fortunately, Dave from Dallas was there, videotaping the moment. A keeper, for sure.
It’s my pleasure to introduce you to the miracle of my son and his family. They are my “Blessing”, for which I am deeply thankful.
Watch out ASK, you have competition!

What a great family you have, Andrea. Children teach us how to love. You must be proud and so are we. Madison is on her way toward being a patriot fighting for our Country. She did not hesitate to speak her support of our troops. Madison, you will never forget this moment. This is history in the making and you are all part of it.
