Yesterday the Department of Defense announced the names of the 30 service-members who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom who died Aug. 6 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when their CH-47 Chinook helicopter crashed.
There are many questions swirling around this horrific tragedy. Ominous theories, some from many former and active military who are saying they don’t believe what DoD is putting out there. Some are calling for a Congressional investigation of this tragedy.
Who leaked the fact that SEAL Team 6 members were on that helicopter? Who made the decision to leak the info about the DevGru?
May 1 – Elite SEAL Team Six kills Osama bin Laden. Why were we told it was this elite group who executed OBL? Who did it benefit?
Aug. 6 – Chinook helicopter is shot down in Afghanistan with 30 American Special Ops aboard. How did this happen? Why were so many Special Ops personnel on board one aircraft? And within 12 hours of the tragedy, it was revealed by the media that among the 20 Americans killed, there were members of SEAL Team 6 aboard. This was announced before even the family members were notified. Later reports said the remains were virtually unidentifiable.
Begging the questions: Who knew that and how did they know?
Why was that classified information revealed?
Ann Barnhardt has been contacted by several military members and has been writing extensively about it at her site. Fairly or not, she’s been accused of being conspiratorialist, but many more seem to be agreeing with her that the official story out of DoD doesn’t smell right.
