I about fell out of my chair when I heard Fox Business News anchor Dagen McDowell refer to Vice President Joe Biden as “numb nuts” during the usual Fox News Saturday morning business programs.
McDowell’s apt description of the man Rush Limbaugh refers to as “Bite me”, has elicited quite a few comments, and it’s hoped that her outburst will not get Ms. McDowell fired from her job at Focks News.
From The Blaze:
A Fox Business Network anchor called Vice President Joe Biden “numb nuts” on the air Saturday when discussing Biden’s recent statements that crime rates will go up if President Barack Obama’s jobs bill is not passed.
Dagen McDowell, appearing on a Fox News panel with Neil Cavuto and several other guests, said she took issue with the “scare tactics” the White House has been employing to get the bill passed.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa,” said Neil “I never pass up a cannoli” Cavuto, a pudgy little man who is reluctant to step into a boat lest he rock it. That weekly direct deposit check buys a lot of pastry.
Fox Business Network correspondent Charles Gasparino asked if anyone was actually surprised Biden was making such statements. He then suggested that calling the vice president “off his rocker” might be a better euphemism.
Yeah, that too, Charlie.
As one commenter noted: “Never has a more fitting description been uttered about Biden. He’s as worthless as a rubber crutch.”
Even if Dagen — as she said — wasn’t referring to “Bite me”, it still applies.
I can’t wait to hear Rush’s comments on this one. Last week on his show he asked,
“What percentage of people with hair plugs are essentially insane? We know two of them, Bite Me and Moammar Khadafy. Seriously.”

“Joe Numb nuts. Yeah, I think that’s going to stick.”
