The Squeaky Wheel Gets Oiled

Sometimes it’s a squeaky wheel that gets the oil…

During email and telephone discussions with Blog Talk Radio’s founder and CEO Alan Levy and BTR Talent Executive Amy Domestico earlier today, both assured me that BTR’s new HD high fidelity feature was de-activated as of last night. Thus, the cause of what’s been wreaking havoc with their online streaming platform has been disengaged, returning stability to the BTR platform.

Domestico assured me that BTR’s engineers have pulled the plug on the HD software until they can work out the technical issues that have been causing us — and them — server crashes and constant headaches. Thus, I’m returning to the BTR fold, albeit with some apprehension despite their assurances that all will be well.

I will resume regular programming tonight during which the topics of Ted Cruz and Donald Trump’s campaigns, the Iran Nuclear Deal vote, the private emails of Hillary and IRS chief Lois Lerner, and the incipient campaign of Joe “Plugs” Biden will be on tap. Joining me — Elizabeth Letchworth Chryst, who says she has so many things to talk about she was perplexed over how she could fit it all in on her program tomorrow evening (on Blog Talk!).  Tonight’s show will give her the opportunity!

bidendrudge copyI’d like to take this opportunity to thank YOU for your emails and expressions of concern regarding my earlier decision to depart from BTR.  As actor Sally Field, clutching her Oscar, exclaimed to the Academy of Motion Pictures:

“I haven’t had an orthodox career, and I’ve wanted more than anything to have your respect. The first time I didn’t feel it, but this time I feel it, and I can’t deny the fact that you like me, right now, you like me!” (1985)

Thanks everyone!
