There’s that phrase again. DC seems to keep coming up with them: “at the end of the day” is still used copiously. Beginning a sentence with “Look.” Or “Clearly.” I call it Washington-speak and it is endemic throughout the nation’s capitol and the media that does its bidding.
Circling back has become SO promiscuously used, you could say it’s like an easy woman. It is a cliché. “I’ll have to circle back to you…”
Here’s the memo from Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop. Seems this is “circling back” too…
