A friend of mine is a ham radio operator, that had his radio antennas mounted on the trunk lid of his Plymouth Grand Fury, which was the police car of that day. He had a San Francisco Police baseball cap in the back window of the car,. A cop saw the car, and gave him a ration of shite. Then the cop called the FCC on him to enter his house and check his ham radio gear. You have to be careful these days.
The only thing that would worry me is being accused of impersonating a police officer.
