Zero degrees in Maine-land

It’s a bright but brittle-cold morning in snow-covered Maine where we’re looking at ZERO degrees on the thermometer and counting the days until Florida sunshine. The Christmas decorations – both outdoor and indoor – are almost all packed up, which means we’ll be all packed up too, ready to fly south for some Vitamin D and the sound of chirping birds.

But the coffee’s hot and it’s time to — as Dorothy Parker would say — find out what fresh hell awaits us today. Are you ready? The birds are chirping on the chat line. Let’s go find out what they’re talking about.
